<![CDATA[May 15, 2019 - Failed Penetration]]>Dregnoth and Gruzar continued to work on removing the runes when suddenly the entire shaft is filled with lightning.

After it clears the party splits to find the source of the lightning when a gargantuan dragon suddenly opens a portal in front of Onaga and attacks.

A short fight ensues, ending with Rorek doing a massive amount of damage and causing the dragon to implode.
The implosion sends Kargin to the Abyss, Onaga is sent to Seven Heavens, Ceaser & Gruzar held hands and were sent to Gehenna.

Upon arrival Rorek caught a hint of beer he has not tried. Now motivated by thousands of years of Dwarven instinct and biological programming. Rorek sets off toward the direction of beer leaving a path of demonic bodies in his wake. Set with noble purpose, low on hit points and out of big ohms, he finally kills the last of enemies in the latest of encounters. Wiping the blood from his eyes, he crests the hill, as his eyes come into focus he sees a Chaos Citadel, in the Abyss. Chaos Dwarves forever locked in a continuous cycle of fighting and drinking. Rorek mutters to himself … “what the hell, why didn’t I know about this”. Now reinvigorated with the last of his “Catch a Breath” surges he begins to get excited about weighing in with the Chaos Dwarves, and then suddenly he feels funny it feels familiar … what is this… then the realization comes to him … it’s an obelisk transport. He howls NOOO (trying to fight the transport)… as he fades away back to the prime material plane.
