A gigantic mantis shrimp that has had all biological mistakes repaired such as the ability to not be able to breath out of water

Size : Large to Huge ( the bigger the meaner
Eye sight : Can see in total darkness , extreme bright light , Deep Ultraviolet vision , Far-Red vision and Polarized light

Each compound eye is made up of tens of thousands of ommatidia, clusters of photoreceptor cells. Each eye possesses trinocular vision, and therefore depth perception. The upper and lower hemispheres are used primarily for recognition of form and motion, like the eyes of many other crustaceans. Both eyes can work independently of each other giving the Giant Mantis 360 degree field of vision

This essentially gives them an Innate True sight ability

The Speed of a small Mantis Shrimp is amazing a punch that hits like a .22 lr round and creates a concavity in the water that when crushes in upon its self releases a shock wave that stuns or kills as well as creates temperatures reaching nearly the same as the surface of the sun. ( you don’t believe me look them up )
The large Mantis does the same only on a much larger scale …Like battle ship round larger

Punch ( Non Spear type Mantis …Oh yeah there is more than one type ) 60D6 clubbing damage , 60D6 concussion and 20d6 burn Save for half ( fire damage from the closing of the bubble, its a fast hot but sucks when it hits )

Their Armor is a base AC42 due to their hard Chitinous shell as well as having a stealth of 25
due to eye sight they are unable to be backstabbed

Natural Heat resistance ( they create temperatures of the sun inches from their own body )
Natural Concussion resistance

Alignment small regular mantis is an animal
Large Mantis have been made better ( twisted ) through alchemy and can there for be of any alignment

With a great capacity to learn and retain knowledge, mantis shrimp can recognize and interact with other shrimp.” ( that’s the small one ) the larger ones may be able to cast magics

Very interesting, is this a planned alchemical playable race? I could see that being fun.

or Post-Apocalyptic kind of like the Mirelurk, it evolved due to the radiation and now has a taste for human flesh.

Or is Dregnoth expanding his worshiper base to the crustaceans? It would make sense.

The Worshippers of Dregnoth meet at Red Lobster on Sundays as a make shift church.

Honestly all I did was increase their size a bit …well by a bit I mean 137 inches …

I think with more alchemical mixing they would be great candidates for Krakens since they are all ready a sea creature but with their multiple arms they should be able to boil the sea.

or as a new form of Tarasque ( of course that’s much bigger meaning he would hit much harder )

Mix in a little dragon DNA and get some MR and shit will get real, real quick.
