Tier II

And Rorek goes Ding… welcome to Tier 2.
So what does a 10E Fighter look like in Tier 2, anything new and exciting?
-
Hmm had a great discussion last night on possible alchemical augments / enhancements to Tier 2… Dregnoth has been busy. Rorek is excited to see what is to come.
-
A few things that need to be discussed / hammered / possibly created for our return to V’Ral, after finishing the Temple of Alchemical Love.
We be Tier 2:
-
Rorek is straight up level 25 and ready for Tier 2. We need to discuss what that means for a 10E Fighter and what exactly happens?
-
Second normally during downtime we can retool our characters, in totality Kargin has 25 levels, if i retooled him for a straight 25 artificer… it would be a good time to under go the transformation.
-
In the past 2E, and 3E a Powermaster was a straight up triple class to be a powermaster, i had assumed that was how we are going to play it in 10E. Where you took 10E Caster three times just selecting different manipulations and energy types (which is kind of how i saw it), character meets the minimums and bamo you sort of follow a epic prestige progression. I’m almost of the mindset we kick the prestige concept to the curb, and just leave it work the way it use to, yeah it sucked balls when it came to progression because what we would call “1 powermaster level” was technically three levels across all three classes. Or we can convert powermaster in 10E to a straight single class 10E caster, and go with the epic prestige model for powermaster progression. I know what i would prefer, but that is what I’m use to and know; so open to hashing out the pros and cons.
Sounds like we need a meeting of the ShowMes variety.

Going to be driving down on Saturday the 20th with one of the daughters. So a mid-afternoon Show-Me’s run could be in the cards for me.
-
-
I will try to meet you crazy kids there
-
-
Let’s make this happen, still on your way down for Saturday? Dwarf and I should be half in the bag by the time you get there.

The plan for me is to leave the house by 9am, meet up with my mom in Maryville so she can take my younger daughter to Bobby’s while I continue to St Charles.
If all goes smoothly, I should be there around 2pm. You guys usually arrive at 1pm right?

Well it all depends on how thirsty Dwarf gets we may leave the house at Noon.

So in conclusion, after 9 buckets of beer or ~ 45 beers, we aren’t ready for Tier 2, we kind of sort of know what a Powermaster may or maybe not look like in 10E, but a lot of confusion still swirls around what the 10E Fighter might be. And Tier 2 is level 26, not 18, not 21, not 25, but 26…well, maybe 30.
And somewhere in there, I think it was discussed we take another pause.
And Dregnoth is the babysitter for Rorek and Kargin.
Good thing we have a 3 or more months between Show-mes runs, going to need a beat to process this.

You forgot to include Name Level in that list.
-
Name Level you are really reaching back there, thats some OD&D, and AD&D relics of the past.
-

Well i do guess i need to start thinking of Name Levels that are befitting of the Exalted’s Mother, since we all fall under Dregnoth now.
Here are a few to kick around, just to get the juices flowing:
Level 1: Initiate of the Alchemical Order
Level 2: Acolyte of the Alchemists’s Flame
Level 3: Alchemical Disciple
Level 4: Operator of the Potatoe Gun
Level 5: Vesselbearer
Level 6: Alchemical Hunter
Level 7: Alchemical Zealot
Level 8: Alchemical Hierophant
Level 9: Grand Tentacled Alchemist
Level 10: Avatar of the Alchemical God
-
-
Since we are all now followers of the Avatar of the Alchemical Godess, or otherwise known as the Avatar of Luv Ii.e. The Babysitter). Lets talk biological / alchemical upgrades, its time we upgrade the Dwarf base model…maybe something in a 5x compression body …lets call it Dwarf 2.0.
Maybe kick around options for a admantium skeleton, four arms, extra pair of eyes (maybe beholder eyes), split brain options, dragon lungs… all things we should discuss.
Think about it, we have time.
-
nawww, ya can’t upgrade dwarves by changing their outward appearance - they’d be seen as aberrations/abominations and universally destroyed by the source race.
what you’re describing sounds more like a BattleDwarf - those you can change and mutate to your hearts content
i’m sure with all the dwarven corpses Her Forsakenness has after the endless siege of the Great Rift, she’s got a few hundred prototypes already built - tho i doubt that any are more terrifying that the devilish Dwarbugs from the Underhells.
something you’ll be reminded of soon enough >:) heh heh heh
-
@dwarf “ Dwarbugs from the Underhells”
I remember them well, should be fun at least until they lay their eggs in our skulls! -

-
@dwarf pause may of been the wrong word more of a side treck to play the kickstarter game he was looking at.
