Diablo IV Lilith burger turns Burger King into Burger Queen in Japan for a limited time
Do you dare to take a bite out of the queen of hell?
It’s not long to go now before fans of the Diablo video game series get to play the long-awaited fourth instalment when it’s due to be released on 6 June 2023. For some, that date still seems painfully far off, but Burger King Japan is here to help us with the wait by serving up an exciting appetiser called the Lilith Spicy Tomato Double Whopper with Cheese.
This new burger is being produced in collaboration with Activision Blizzard Japan, the makers of the video game series, and it marks the third collaborative release, with Lilith joining a couple of other hellish burgers currently on the menu.

aaaand now they’re making pipe drones… (just not squiddies, YET). that diablo burger looks tasty, but not $14 tasty
-
looking forward to mounting one o’ these on each corner of my house
(thinking the G’s version will work against drones, or bigger) -
Found this at Costco the other day. Motoko is still deciding is we will buy one. Only $99/pound.

on the other hand, THIS is a pretty cool accomplisment
https://www.theguardian.com/business/2023/jul/04/toyota-claims-battery-breakthrough-electric-cars
“Japanese firm believes it could make a solid-state battery with a range of 745 miles that charges in 10 minutes”
-
now we just gotta wait for an american-sized version
“Japan’s new wearable air conditioner belt is here just in time for the Tokyo heat wave”
-
@dwarf I went and checked it out
current conversion rates it cost $234.33 US[Adjustable waist/Equipped with a large capacity battery of 5,000 mAh/Continuous use for up to 17 hours/3 levels of wind power adjustment/With a dedicated app that can be controlled from a smartphone/Type-C charging}
Although I can get one from Amazon
[Portable Waist Fan, 12000mAh Battery Operated Fan, 20 Hours Working Time, 2 Speeds, Strong Airflow Hands-free Rechargeable Belt Fan for Outdoor Works, Takeaway, Farm, Hiking, Camping, Travel, Black] for $49.99
its more bulky but with the stuff I do I think I may get one
would be nice to mine in Arkansas in the summer -
@orc that one at scAmazon isn’t an AC unit tho - just moves hot air around (still nice to keep your clothes from gettin damp and sticky). the jap one actually uses some high-tech phase change material to give ya a cooldown effect.
still, at $50 vs the pair of $250 ones an american would need, i’d prolly try the amazon one first too
if ya get one, lemme know how well it works for ya !
-
@dwarf Im for sure gonna get one … I been looking at the Japanese one I think they are saying PCM for simple heatsink they put in it.
Now there is on out there that actually does have a true cooling unit built in which is pretty cool but its a small wear on your neck unit.
The Glotru one from Japan : https://modern-g.com/products/wearcool
The Small one with a cooling unit : https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-fan-ii
Although having worked in HV/AC I will believe it when I see it lol

LOL - even Japan has a Joseph Smith
“A small Japanese village claims to be the final resting place of the son of God (and God’s other son’s ear).”
