So @dwarf, I ordered a sake on the rocks. It was not worth the price tag. But then I am near a bar district before they all open. So honestly not surprised. I switched to beer after that. Cheaper for more.

guessing you got the Umeshu ? 6 bux a glass is pretty steep, since we can score a liter an’ a half for around that on sale
prolly need to find the sake version of a beer-taster bar here in the states. some place that has bottles of hundreds different flavors to try 'n enjoy

Once it was after 7 I went over to Golden Gai as some places there started to open by then.

Friday was a slow day. Took the family to Ōmiya, the closest large station, to do a little shopping and visited a cat cafe.
Didn’t do any drinking after not getting home until almost midnight after visiting Golde Gai.

Heavy rain today, so we stayed around the house. During a break in the rain we walked to McDonald’s for a simple lunch.
