wake up and being a spiral search pattern. no encounter that day or night. next morning encounter mountain giant with glimmerskin. Party fought until the glimmerskin planeshifted away with the mountain giant. >insert recurring character here<
search around and found that the giant had teleported in and then gathered some materials before setting an ambush for the party.
Awarded 4,000xp per player.
After discovering this the party continued on their search pattern.
about 1pm they find a sheared off hilltop. upon exploration it was found to have been mined for a manacite vein.
They report and a wizard pops in to map the area.
continuing on, they encounter a pair of Bronze Serpents and readily defeat them.
Awarded 2,500xp per player.
