Solved Treant Staff

Ok… I have ganked Grizzleknot in South Karana 5 times now, for the sole purpose of retrieving the clicky from the Treant Staff and all i keep getting is this no drop trash Grizzleknot Bark
Next time you pop on Sorvani, do you mind summoning me the Treant Staff, i just want it for the clicky so i can remove root from my active spell gem list.

With the trip to Vex Thal we picked up the Ring of Immobilization (2 rings in fact)

It’s a 3rd level root for wizards
But yes it works. Higher roots have resist adjustments or less chance to break, but still the same root.
It is an instant cast. So you make a hot button to cast it from a bag slot. You don’t even have to equip it.

You don’t even have to equip it.Yep, i’m tracking, hopefully combined with Clinging Root AA helps with break, it will be useful in a pinch. I’ve heard wizards have a great root best in the game, but i think that is just folk lore. Anyway the instant cast is nice, so when Diachi is running around chasing a mob that is chasing the wizard … i can root it without having to use up a spell slot.

i DO have some kind of ice root slotted… just haven’t seen the need to cast it much since EVERY FUCKING THING summons me, irregardless of sight or obstacles (you know, those rules the REST of the casters have to abide by). so its pretty much backpedal away repeatedly and try to stay alive until the lazy enchanter mezzes it or the fighter steals aggro
