Looks like ProjectEQ (PEQ) The Grand Creation upgraded to include Dragons of Norrath sometime in the Aug/Sep timeframe.

Somehow the buff spell Overwhelming Splendor does not play well with the Intricate Defiant Charm. When i have the buff on (charisma buff), and i transition zones, the intricate defiant charm has no stats … completely blank. If i click the buff off and transition zones the intricate defiant charm works like a champ. If i cast the buff spell once in the zone i’m headed to (after zoning) the intricate charm works fine. Its only when having the buff spell running and zoning into a new area…does the charm go wonky.

The ability gives you the chance to permanently charm an NPC. Max Charm Level: 46

Not sure how difficult it would be to copy old Dire Charm, and make an Advanced Dire Charm from it?

Within the EQ Mercenary system, a player gets 1 of 6 slots for which to hold their purchased Merc’s. And can buy or open slots 2-6… as shown below.

With the trip to Vex Thal we picked up the Ring of Immobilization (2 rings in fact)

CATACOMBS OF DRANIK:

This is an instanced zone accessed via Grand Historian Rygua (Level 70), in the Ruined City of Dranik.

This zone is the one where “Master of the Watch” is mentioned in the text from Gersh.

You are after the Insidious Dragorn (Level 70). His place holder is A Noc Scout (Level 65).

You need to kill the Insidious Dragorn and loot the Dust-Marred Signet (No Trade, Lore, Magic, Weight 0.1).

It spawns near the far end of the zone.

Nope on vendors available for purchase, was just letting others know. There are higher level version so those potions as well on those vendors.

Well i have had a chance to put the new 71-80 spells thru the paces. For the most part it all impressively works, and works well. The only two obvious areas that throw an error are:

Auras - any aura level 71 and above (i tried all of them)
Message Given for “Mana Resurgence Aura Rk. III” -

Enchanter Pet Animations - anything 71 and above; Ellowind’s Animation (71), Erradien’s Animation (76)

Potentially, I have mercy enabled. I don’t know if it worked, because EQ launches and immediately crashes on my desktop at home.

Would not recommend trying it level 70+ first.
