killed, no… most of the Sun Dwarves were corrupted and assimilated into his Magitronics Apocalypse Support Specialists - the brains behind building his manatomic bombs

So given we now know what the repercussions are of feeding Clockmaker Megacompacted Perfect Sphere Crystal to an Obelisk… does. That is not a sentence I thought I would type.
If the Daughters were to consult the maker of the Obelisks (ie. Arg), would he be able to give them a better sense of how far they could take an Obelisk before he goes off the rails and becomes a megalomaniac?
Or knowing what we know now, and we started over with a fresh obelisk build, and had a piece of mega-compacted perfect sphere crystal (i know BIG assumption) to feed the new obelisk could with the help of Arg and Malathon maybe upgrade its OS to help counter the EGO effects that come with an upgrade.
Malathon theorized Ultranium could withstand the pressures of a star to survive trans-stellar tunneling. Can the obelisk process metal? I know you can feed it gems all day long and it can clone, adapt, mirror, copy, etc… whatever word you want to use. The obelisk took on the properties of the gems it absorbed both physical and magical. But I wasn’t sure it could do that with metal.
Or do we construct an Ultranium Obelisk? Probably would be extraordinarily difficult to do, given the quantity, it would take a lot of juice to make from the earthstone… since it was hard enough to make that dwarf-sized ultranium golem to collect all that void crystal.
Just flushing out options for the new Mobelisk 2.0, so they can still maintain trans-stellar travel for when they finally move off the Mobelisk.

A few questions to discuss at the next beer/wings outing (preserving here so my memory doesn’t fail me, that is assuming i remember to reference this):
1. So what are the advantages and disadvantages between building the following, for Mobelisk 2.0
- Mana Reactor - (Erok/Arg) assuming they would part with some of the raw material.
- Micro-star inside a Dyson sphere - (acknowledging the time and gold investment)
2. On Mobelisk 1.0, Dirst and his borg dwarves had built a 3-terra watt power plant.
- Since some time has passed, are there upgrades available?
3. On Mobelisk 1.0, we had a few defensive capabilities
- Warp Cloak
- Weird Star
- Force Field Generator (I think this was powered by the terra-watt generator, but never used since we had the crystalline shield)
- Defensive Power Shield or in other words the Clockmaker Megacompacted Perfect Sphere Crystal
So we performed inter-stellar travel because we had a strong enough shield to counter the intense heat and gravity that allowed us to use various stars for travel. In an earlier post we talked about a Ultranium shield as an alternative, does or is the obelisk capable of processing Ultranium (and if he can, would the Mobelisk 2.0 become a megalomaniac like the 1.0)?
I suppose we could build the shield outside of the Mobelisk 2.0, and make it so the Mobelisk can activate it. That may be a safer way to do it.

Found in the Triplets Vault Manifest
3 Clubs - embedded crystals (Dwarf says “I’ll remember what they are” )
Any idea?

Thats interesting i thought all of them had names that started with a ‘K’ … ohh well, hard to argue with the physical character sheet.

I honestly have no memory on the naming other than I remember talking about it.
Arakan is also not native to our prime. He was an alternate universe import. Something I really do not recall, but is on the character sheet.

Arakan is a He…man my memory of that character is really off the mark there.
Ok, well i’m writing a story about the Triplets, and in it the triplets are ‘summoned’ to Big Nose, maybe summoned isn’t entirely accurate, it was more of a passive aggressive suggestion. Anyway with the triplets back in the Mess, and their second in command monitoring current away missions and their progress plus any newly discovered Mobelisk areas of concern coming off his scans while in the new twin binary system. That leaves Arakan’s mentee (i named her, just don’t remember what) to beam to the Manaverse and establish a Triple K Trading Company outpost (an alias, cover or in more modern terms a ‘shell’ company of the triplets). Now this is the part in the story i need some help with Rolandite protocol. The new Rolandite (Arakan’s mentee) is traveling to the Manaverse, and i have made some assumptions regarding the story.
- I’m assuming it would be customary to send an email ahead of arrival to let Varalla know the Rolandite will be arriving versus just surprising everyone.
- I assume since the sphere where V’Ral resides and operates doesn’t limit restrict business from being operated elsewhere within the world, just not in V’Ral.
- i assume that the conversation will be filled with pleasantries, and Varalla will fill much of the conversation around the summary of their time there, drinking a manaetheral wine. Ultimately recommending setting up shop on the opposite continent across the ocean where the Penetrators discovered several areas with castle ruins that could be restored from which to operate? Or some place else? (Usually not far from an obelisk)
- I assume with her blessing, she would wish them well and profitable negotiations and send them on their way.
Anything else i’m forgetting in the rough outline or that I should add to the conversation?

you’d fire off an email letting the CHURCH know you were coming across… and then follow-up emails as you get established. its more of a courtesy than anything else, and wouldn’t need V’s direct attention
business may be transacted ANYWHERE in the sphere, and a tithe % is forwarded to the church for each net positive transaction over the 3% “base mandatory profit” percentage, which is only EVER waived if you’re providing assets to fellow adventurers in your party or other Rolandites/Protectors. this “base +3%” rule is even applied when dealing with charities. a Rolandite may offer items at or below COST to other rolandites or their fellow party members, but thats assumed to be extenuating circumstances (ie you don’t hafta whack someone for profit if they’ve just been murdered-in-a-dungeon kinda thing)
you’ll be able to request a list of prospective shop locations, based on whatever product you’ll primarily be moving. with the coming of the grey/black robed Daughters, this can get “shady” - but those options only get shown to Daughters of high enough rank/level and/or wearing robes of those colors (ie Bishops and above can see more and more of what the grey/dark church is transacting, as they rise in level)
you’d receive the gratuitous blessings, nods and handshakes and told “Go make us all rich, and try not to get killed !”
