The party continued down the volcanic crater on the plane of water that tey had track the lair to.
At the bottom of the crater shaft, they found 3 dragon sized tunnels going off in various directions. The party went to the north and encountered a small village of Sahuagin that attacked the party on sight.
Eventually defeating all the Sahuagin, the party moved back to the crater shaft and this time noticed an opening to the southwest hidden by an illusion.
Tracking down this one they eventually came to what was obviously the dragon’s main hoard and lair.
The party earned 4504XP each.
