      Widen Spell [Metamagic]

      You can increase the area of your spells.

      Benefit: You can alter a burst, emanation, line, or spread spell to increase its area. Spells that do not have an area of one of these four sorts are not affected by this feat. Any numeric measurements of the power’s area increase by 100%.

      A widened spell uses a spell slot three levels higher than the spell’s actual level.

        Split Ray
        ( Tome and Blood: A Guidebook to Wizards and Sorcerers, p. 42)

        [Metamagic]

        You can affect two targets with a single ray.

        Prerequisite
        Any other metamagic feat,

        Benefit
        You can split spells that specify a single target and make a ranged touch attack. Only spells that deal damage can be affected by this feat. The split ray affect any two targets that are both within the spell’s range and within 30 feet of each other. Each target takes half as much damage as normally indicated (round down). If desired, you can have both rays attack the same target. A split ray uses up a spell slot of the spell’s normal level, modified by any other metamagic feats.

          Practiced Spellcaster
          ( Complete Divine, p. 82)

          [General]

          Choose a spellcasting class that you possess. Your spells cast from that class are more powerful.

          Prerequisite
          Spellcraft 4 ranks,

          Benefit
          Your caster level for the chosen spellcasting class increases by +4. This can’t increase your caster level beyond your HD. However, even if you can’t benefit from the full bonus immediately, if you later gain noncaster-level HD you may be able to apply the rest of the bonus. For example, a human 5th-level cleric/3rd-level fighter who selects this feat would increase his cleric caster level from 5th to 8th (since he has 8 HD). If he later gained a fighter level, he would gain the remainder of the bonus and his cleric caster level would become 9th (since he now has 9 HD). A character with two or more spellcasting classes (such as a bard/sorcerer or a ranger/druid) must choose which class gains the feat’s effect. This does not affect your spells per day or spells known. It only increases your caster level, which would help you penetrate SR and increase the duration and other effects of your spells.

          Special
          You may select this feat multiple times. Each time you choose it, you must apply it to a different spellcasting class. For instance, a 4th-level cleric/5th-level wizard who had selected this feat twice would cast cleric spells as an 8th-level caster and wizard spells as a 9th-level caster.

          Improved Caster Level
          You raise your caster level.

          Prerequisite: Ability to cast spells.
          Benefit: Your effective caster level in all spellcasting classes is increased by 4, but no higher than your character level.
          Special: You can take this feat multiple times; its effects stack.

            Irresistible Spell [Metamagic]

            Nobody can resist your spells.
            Prerequisite: Spellcaster level 7+, Envelope the Wall, Maximize Spell.
            Benefit: Spells you cast that normally allow a saving throw do not allow a saving throw. An irresistible spell uses up a spell slot four levels higher than the spell’s actual level.

              Mass Effect Spell (Metamagic)

              Your spells can affect more targets.

              Benefit: A spell that normally affects a single target now affects 1 target /caster level, no two of which can be more than 30 ft. apart. A mass effect spell uses up a spell slot 4 levels higher than the spell’s actual level.

              Special: If used with a touch spell, all targets must be in physical contact with one another. This feat does not work on spells with a range of “personal.”

Concentrating on such a spell is a standard action that does not provoke an attack of opportunity. A persistent spell uses up a spell slot four levels higher than the spell’s actual level

                    Actually, the complete arcane version takes a spell slot 8 level higher than the spell. Meaning it can only be use don 1st and second level spells.

                    Otherwise, I do not see a difference.

                        Dazing Spell (Metamagic)

                        You can daze creatures with the power of your spells.

                        Benefit: You can modify a spell to daze a creature damaged by the spell. When a creature takes damage from this spell, they become dazed for a number of rounds equal to the original level of the spell. If the spell allows a saving throw, a successful save negates the daze effect. If the spell does not allow a save, the target can make a Will save to negate the daze effect. If the spell effect also causes the creature to become dazed, the duration of this metamagic effect is added to the duration of the spell.

                        Level Increase: +3 (a dazing spell uses up a spell slot three levels higher than the spell’s actual level.

                        Spells that do not inflict damage do not benefit from this feat.

                          Range Personal -> Touch -> Ray

                          Transfer Spell (Metamagic)

                          You can change the range of a spell from personal to touch.

                          Benefit: You can use Transfer Spell with any spell that has a range of personal to change its range to touch. The target of the spell must accept the spell voluntarily or it has no effect.

A reach spell uses up a spell slot two levels higher than the spell’s actual level.

                                  Your allies need not fear friendly fire.

                                  Prerequisite: Spellcraft 10 ranks.
                                  Benefit: When casting a selective spell with an area effect and a duration of instantaneous, you can choose a number of targets in the area equal to the ability score modifier used to determine bonus spells of the same type (Charisma for bards, oracles, paladins, sorcerers, and summoners; Intelligence for witches and wizards; Wisdom for clerics, druids, inquisitors, and rangers). These targets are excluded from the effects of your spell. A selective spell uses up a spell slot one level higher than the spell’s actual level.

                                  Spells that do not have an area of effect do not benefit from this feat.
                                  At 20th level, you may exclude double the normal number of targets.

                                    Prerequisites: Dwarf, hardy racial trait.

                                    Benefit: You receive a +4 racial bonus on saving throws against spells and spell-like abilities. This replaces the normal bonus from the dwarf’s hardy racial trait.

                                    At 7th level, once per day as an immediate action, you may reroll a failed save versus a spell or spell-like ability.

                                    At 14th level, whenever you would take half damage from a spell or spell-like effect, you instead take ¼ damage.

                                    Normal: Dwarves normally receive a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against spells and spell-like abilities.

                                      Staff-Like Wand

                                      Your research has unlocked a new power in conjunction with using a wand.

                                      Prerequisite: You must be at least an 11th-level Wizard and must have the Craft Staff feat to select this discovery.

                                      Benefit: Similar to using a magic staff, you use your own Intelligence score and relevant feats to set the DC for saves against spells you cast from a wand, and you can use your caster level when activating the power of a wand if it’s higher than the caster level of the wand.

                                          You can create items using the knowledge gained from all of your spellcasting classes.

                                          Prerequisite: Any item creation feat, able to cast spells from two different spell lists.
                                          Benefit: When acquiring item creation feats or when creating magic items, you can add together the caster levels of all your spellcasting classes to determine your caster level. For example, a 1st-level bard/1st-level cleric/3rd-level wizard could gain Craft Wand and create magic items as a 5th-level caster.

                                            Fuse with Item [Eldritch]

                                            Using your skill with magic, you absorb a magic item into your body, taking on its essence and powers.

                                            Prerequisite: Charisma 19, caster level 10th

                                            Benefit: You can absorb a magic item and make its powers inherent within you. You cannot fuse with magic weapons or armor, nor can you fuse with potions or scrolls. You can fuse with any other item. Activating or using an item that’s fused with you works the same as for a normal item. A fused wand of wall of ice allows you to cast wall of ice as a spell-like ability (using the item’s caster level) 50 times, or however many charges it had left at the time of the fusing. Bonus types do not change. A fused amulet of health +4 grants you a permanent enhancement bonus (not an inherent bonus) of +4.

                                            Fusing with an item first requires an XP cost equal to half the item’s gold-piece value. Then, you must make a Spellcraft check with DC 20 + the item’s caster level for each of the item’s separate abilities. Failure means that you cannot use that power. You may try only once per ability. Even if you are unable to use any of the powers of a fused item, the item is consumed, and the experience points lost.

                                            Once consumed, a fused item cannot be taken away from you. It does not need to be drawn or wielded, and it is not visible in any way. It takes up no space on your body, so if you have fused with an amulet you can wear another amulet with- out problems. Like all spell-like abilities, using the fused item requires no components and draws no attack of opportunity.

                                            Items that logically grant no benefit from being absorbed— mainly because their power comes from being independent of the user, such as a figurine of wondrous power or dust of tracelessness—cannot be fused.
                                            Mord’s disjunction removes the item from you, restoring it to its normal state.

                                            Intelligent Items: Fusing with an intelligent item forces you to make a Will save at the beginning of each day (DC 10 + item’s level + item’s Charisma bonus). If you succeed, you are in control for the day and can use the item’s abilities, skills, and feats (if applicable). If you fail, the item remains in control of you for the day and can use your abilities, skills, and feats. Items fused with a character cannot gain levels as described on page 63.
