      mostly confined myself to the smaller 3-6k nukes unless we were fighting a badass (like those archer fucks) or on occasion when i got irritated by some beastie 😜

      the 16k ones are only when i crit and roll lucky

            What was it? I thought all the magic items were just database entries was there a mechanic the required scripting for it to work?

              they are just database items. But the items that change based on a condition also use a quest file to script the scaling based on whatever condition.

              I also pushed a fix for the flawed defiant charm.

                      @dwarf I also figured out my lag issue. Well I dont’ know what exactly it was, but I reran the graphics settings tool built in to EQ and now I have no lag.

                          Ice is not a single big damage Ice, spell, same as the short cast fire spell, but a stupid recast timer.

                              Your Rain spells are nice. Ice has always been better than fire for these. Each wave can also crit I think?

                              Well nice as long as there is not a mez’d one right on top of the target.

                                Managing your own agro is not a bad thing either.

                                The left one straight up reduces your agro.

                                The right one is a root. So instead of running in circles, just root the damned thing so Daichi can fight it.

                                    Even wanting to have a variety of things for faster recast, you only need a few. If you end up in a zone with resistances to fire, then you simply swap out those.

                                    Personally, I liked to use the saved spell bar sets for that.

                                    Load up your ā€œfireā€ list then /savespellset fire
                                    Load up the other variant then /savespellset other

                                    Then you make a hotbuttons (socials)
                                    Name: Load Fire
                                    Line 1: /memspellset fire

                                    Name: Load Other
                                    Line 1: /memspellset other

                                    Other than the damage spells, things would be the same.
                                    Hate reduce (Concussion)
                                    Root
                                    Dispell
                                    What else do you use?

                                    You should not need Gate anymore. You should have an AA for that now. So you can make a hotbutton for the main bar and not use a spell gem.

                                      You can get even fancier and use a social button to cast your nuke, pause, and then the concussion with a single button. so you don’t even have to click both on the spell bar.

                                      If you have Ancient: Core Fire in gem 1 and then Ancient: Greater Concussion in gem 6, you could do this.

                                      Line 1: /pause 80;/cast 1
                                      Line 2: /cast 6

                                      This would cast Gem 1, wait 8 seconds, then cast Gem 6. Yes the pause is first. Ask Sony…
                                      I came up with 8 seconds based on Sorvani’s displayed cast time in the screenshot above of 6.2 plus the recovery time of 1.5. Thus 6.2+1.5= 7.7 + .3 for lag/latency = 8.0

                                      The /pause is in deciseconds for WTF ever reason Sony developed it that way. So 8 * 10 = 80.

                                      Label the button Main Nuke and as long as both of your spellsets have you ā€œmainā€ nuke in gem 1 you hit the same button always.

                                            There is also Abscond, which has a small cast time, but is an evac to the zone safe point.
